You might have a picture in your head about what child abuse is like. When it happens, abuse can affect all kinds of kids, no matter where they live, how much money their families have, or who they live with. A kid can be abused by a parent, step-parent, and other relative in the family, babysitter, teacher, coach, or a bigger kid. Here is nothing more disturbing to me than child abuse stories, except actual child abuse. I find that I cannot watch TV shows or read book that involve child abuse with out becoming sick to my stomach. Child abuse stories make me extremely angry and helpless at the same time. I have a very strong opinion about it. I just don’t understand people who can do this to their children, or any child for that matter. Children should be protected, not harmed.There are two main problems. One is that people don’t want to involve themselves. They see something that bothers or disturbs them but instead of investigating it or reporting it they come up with some logical explanation to explain things away. I would rather be the person who cried wolf than find out I should have reported it and did not. Two, child abuse is usually hidden. Children are trained not to tell or admit it is happening. Child abuse stories need to be heard, and be used to wake people up. Make them understand that it is really happening. Child abuse is one of those things people would rather not know about. Maybe one store being shared will help others identify a child who needs help, and motivate them to offer that helping hand. As adults it is our job to protect children, even when they are not ours.

Please spread this to everyone you know or loved, to share this information with them. A child doesn’t deserve this at all. We all can make this big different if we do get them some help.

Pro- If I have any children with a disability, I would give the child a cell phone because they can have the access communicate to talk with me or the other member in the family. I do believe give a second chance to these children who is responsibility. Some disability cannot handle hold their own. Believe me, I have seen several bright kids. Many people don’t know how to access to meet their levels, which cause me angry.

For instance: Many deaf kids born by hearing parents, they will listen to the doctor to put cochlear implant to make them to be able to hear. I do not believe that parents should have this kind of power, should have research first and decide what is the best. The best result, they should have wait until their child to become 18 to be able to make decisions on their own. I’m aware that many parents don’t get this enough information about their deaf child.

I have seen several children with disability do have their own cells, at age 13-15.

Many disabilities is very reliable on any kind of devices service, I do not see any problem-let children have one too.

Con- this is very awkward with “con” for me to answer but I do still believe that I should give this child who has the disability because they can feel same with everyone. First thing when I saw “con” in this article, I did thought about what con got have one. At first, I did think will they have able to have kind of responsibility or it may be complicated.

I am asking you guys, what do you think? Imagine if you have your own disability children?

For me, I know that I’m the coolest mom of my two children. They don’t have their own pager or cell because me and their dad being parent of our two children, we both felt that they are not ready but my first son will be 10 next months. I am thinking about get him one sometime next year. I have decided that they will get their own laptop for Christmas, I know too early for them but nowadays is all about laptop, cell, text pager, and many things.

I do believe everyone should have their 2^nd chance to get their own cell phones in no matter what.

Global Literacy

I was amazed when I first read this article about twelve years old in minor age that he did success in his own project for the nonprofit organization. I do support for any minor ages, at least 12 or above age that they can do it whatever they want but as long it is ok with their parents. I want to ask you guys opinion, should we allow 12 years old to get a job just like 15 years old? They can learn how to be responsibility and save money for transportation or college in the funds. Many parents cannot afford sent their children to college. From my experience, I did start my job at 15 years old at Kroger, name of grocery store in Texas. I do not think there is anything wrong to do anything at these 12 years old. I am very impressed when I read this story about him. We need more of young people to development in many different ways to success.
